San mai kitchen knife for sale
From time to time I make something other than razors, mainly to do something useful with leftover pieces of steel that I can't really use for razors. I've made a couple and want to move them because now they're just sitting here. I don't have a good grasp on what a good price would be so I am leaving it to the people to decide and run this as an auction. The starting price is the price of the materials + shipping. That way at least I'll have recovered the materials.
This auction will run as specified in the rules. Starting price is 100 USD. Shipping is included in the price. It will run for 3 days from today.
Payment is via bitcoin or paypal. Payment in bitcoin gets 5% discount because then I don't have to pay the paypal fee.
The winner is the highest bid after the 3 day period
This is a little kitchen knife I made in san mai. The sane mai itself comes from Howard Clark. The sides are antique wrought iron. The core is 1086M steel. The handle is juma. The edge length is about 4". It's basically a handy little carving knife.

Thanked: 2209Hmmm, I know how good 1086M steel is with the extra vanadium plus the uniqueness of the layering with wrought iron and the quality work of Howard Clark and yourself. Since I already own a similar but longer knife I would like this shorter version.
