Custom pocket folding knife
Up for sale is my custom pocket knife. This was made by the famous Dutch pocket knife maker Gudy van Poppel.
I've used it lightly a couple of times. Most of the time it was on display or worn to knife events as an accessory.
I've written about it here when I bought it

The reason I am selling it now is that I quickly need cash to pay for a new jackhammer for the home renovation project (which is also why I have no finished razors to sell). I need the jackhammer much more than I need the knife and I need it fairly urgently.
The new price was 960 USD. The buyer get a copy of the invoice I got for this knife.
My asking price is 700 USD, worldwide shipping included, with insurance.
It is high quality stainless, stonewashed. Tactical with rugged yet very clean decoration and grooves. The brass rings you see are cut from actual bullet casings. The liner lock is solid, and the knife pivots on bearings. The close position is held by an internal little sprung ball bearing. To open it you either open it like a normal folder, or you can 'spring' it open with the lever. This requires quite some force but it's more a technique you need to get the hang of than using brute force. I can easily open it with both hands.

Well I could hone it if that would be the deal breaker, but I can't promise shaveready.
It feels extremely solid and I wouldn't normally be selling it but I need a jackhammer to do a number of things myself that we'd normally planned on having the contractor do. The engineer didn't want to sign off on the original plans from the architect (which is what we based the remortgage on). The roof was too wide to carry on wooden beams so he decided it needed a steel structure with 10" I beams. The entire build got a lot more expensive and I have been working for almost 2 months every free hour, doing the plumbing, electricity and other stuff.
There remains a chunk of work to be done requiring a jackhammer, and renting one is expensive, esp if you need it on separate days. So I'd rather buy once and get a lot of work done. With the proceeds of this knife, I would have precisely enough to buy a heavy duty milwaukee jackhammer without having to spend additional money from the mortgage budget.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
