Thread: Lot ot 4 stainless kitchen knife blanks

Cleaning out some stuff that's been sitting for over a year now. I made these quite a while ago with the idea of making a line of kitchen knives. But I lost all interest in that. Not in kitchen knives per se, but plain stainless kitchen knives.

Up for sale are 4 kitchen knife blanks. Asking price is 250 USD, shipping included.

I've made them from niolox stainless steel. They're heat treated. All they need is handsanding and polishing. I am not going to lie: handsanding stainless is tedious. But you can get superb kitchen knives at a bargain price. The steel for those 4 knives alone was over 100 USD so that is a pretty sweet deal.
I sent one of them to Mike Blue for breaking and hardness testing. The hardness is a consistent 59.5 Rockwell C hardness. Grain size is small and uniform.

The big one has an edge length of 8.5", overall 14"
The two middle ones are 6" overall 10.5"
The small one is 4" overall 8.5 "

I will bevel them, clean up the outline, and send them to you.
