    Another item clearance for the sake of moving stuff and paying bills for projects to come.
    A bowie knife in ladder pattern damascus with several hundred layers or O2, O1, 15N20 and 52100 steel. The guard is brass. The handle is stabilized fossil walrus rib with purple resin.

    This is an auction with a starting value of 225 USD.

    Interesting. I did expect slightly more interest in this piece, at that price.
    Though admitted, it's 3 times longer than the average item that's sold here
    I thought of pulling it back but I'm letting it run its course.

    It is very nice. Surprised myself. I'm more into knives built for combat. Full brass guards, with blade notch for twisting the opponents blade from his grip, a skull splitting pommel, well notched handle that wont slip when bloodied, and at least 9" of lazer sharp, heavy steel. Good enough to lop off fingers and hands with ease. Plus can be used as a survival knife/axe.

    I'm gettin too old for knife play, but at least ya can't run outta bullets, and there's nothing more intimidating than a guy with a big knife.

    BTW I don't do a whole lot of these but it just so happened that that they talked about Bowie knives on the 'Blade Magazine' FB page. Apparently these are influenced by fashion just like clothes.
