Coffee, eggs, bacon and beans on rye bread.
Fresh venison tenderloin sandwich. Just a touch of salt for spice. That is all a good meat needs.

This was more like a brunch today. I tried making some Newfoundland style Toutons. They are basically bread dough flatten to form like a thick pancake and pan fried on a low heat till done. I put margarine on top and black strap molasses with some pea meal/Canadian bacon. Was not too bad for a first attempt but next time I will fry them a little long longer and use a maple syrup instead of the black strap molasses. We'll get there eventually.
