The faux in this context is given and taken, only the smiles are shared.
Ditto to everything after 'Englishman so can't' above (because most everyone else I know, so can!) :p

I probably have never had the same homemade hash twice. To me there is no recipe. Make extra baked potatoes for supper. In the morning dice them up and add whatever leftover meat and vegetables are in the refrigerator. Top it off with eggs and or cheese!
I admit there are some better than others but never a bad one.
hash? I am the worlds expert hands down,my fave, left over leg of lamb.Cube it,large cast iron skillet, melt bacon grease, toss in two diced med Idaho spuds (skin on),one medieum walla walla ony diced,6 cloves of garlic diced, brown well, remove from pan.
Toss in the lamb, brown, mix it all up,toast homemade sourdough bread.
Ramikin with catsup and many dahes of tabasco, tis heaven:)
Hash, eggs, Tabasco sauce and some sort of pig fat = Breakfast of Kings :)
Sounds kind of like bubble and squeak.
Bung a pile of leftovers in pan, fry till its cooked, done.
Roast dinner leftovers are good, esp if you've got a few Brussels sprouts in there, obviously needs to be fairly potato heavy.
