My wife assures me that I would make her Scottish ancestors proud lol.
I had some of this for breakfast this morning. I had a hard time buying it. Oats are around $3.95 a bushel I see. That makes the oats in this can worth about 22 cents at the grain elevator. Buying it this way is about $175.00 a bushel. Heck of a markup!

Tasted good and had a nice texture. Added milk and honey. Took me an hour to cook it and be done eating. Much to long for a normal workday. I am out of bed and drive 25 miles to work in that time on a work morning. While waiting I ate an apple and had a couple of small Buffalo and wild rice Salami on Damper sandwiches. I may not have to eat again until tomorrow.

if you soak your oats the night before, like beans, they will cook a lot quicker. Just add hot water to'em before bed and let sit n soak.

Arrowroot biscuits and Vegemite. Homemade and warm from the oven. I got tired of trying to make them round so I made some square ones. One from the edge even looked like a stealth airplane but i ate that one before the picture.

I was a little confused by calling them biscuits. They are a cookie but we can eat them for breakfast anyway.

The butter and cookie cover up the taste of the Vegemite and I need a lot on it to taste it.

    32t and Nighblade,

Those meals of yours both look delicious.

BTW...Is that bread embracing those fried eggs homemade?

Have you tried the explosion yet?
I personally think milky coffee or hot chocolate work best. Just don't bite too much off the corners, more of a nibble really.
And eat it quick, you will get a feel for when the.drink load is just right, the biscuit will feel slightly soft. Too much and you will need a spoon once you have finished your drink.
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

OMG you really are a bad influence!

My wife thought that this was a wonderful idea! I am not a coffee drinker but could see the hot chocolate idea. If i make through tomorrow without eating all 5 I have left out of 2 boxes i might take one to work and try with free coffee!.....Or I might have to buy another box or 2.
