Thanked: 1160I really wish we could get good Rye bread here like what you have. You really have to hunt for good stuff like that here in the States, it's not common place. We have a saying here in the US.....:"Better living through Chemicals"

Blueberry soup is just.....eh, blueberry soup. Berry soaps are very common here as a part of the breakfast or as dessert. Thick stuff, you need spoon to eat it. Not so thick as jam.
Usually no added sugar or anything so they are not so sweet. Actually soup/juice/jam made of buckthorn, lingonberry, gooseberry and such are pretty sour.
People seem to have very mixed feelings with sea buckthorns: it grows only in narrow coastline so most folks do not even know it. It's sort of love/hate. I can't help but like it as we have it more than enough in our garden.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'
