We actually used the Kitchen Breakfast Nook this morning, I think we have used it maybe 13 times in the 13 years we have lived here

Now let's jinx the weather, "OMG it isn't raining" hehehe

Dear Mr. gssixgun, please don't tempt us old folks who have had to forego the great pleasures in life in order to continue existing (and further plague the forum pages) with images that require us to wear a bib because of the drooling. I must now rack my brain for all the ethnic delights of my childhood that can increase my demise by several years if I care to ingest them.

    Like minds Glen...

I was just getting ready to make some fresh-baked sour-dough biscuits myself. I'll skip the sausage gravy though...opting instead for some eggs and bacon, and lots of butter and honey for the biscuits!

Now a once a year breakfast for the Wife and I. Eggs Benedict with champagne. This mellows my day and makes my daily cigar even better.

Alright, all you guys, with your delightful breakfasts showing up (eggs benedict! w/champagne!! be still my stomach).
I will counter with my upcoming Sunday lunch of my childhood ethnic background. It is either delighted in or shunned like boil on your bumm.

Fried Matzos: two well beaten eggs, two sheaves of matzo passed slowly under running water, broken up and soaked in the eggs for 15-20 minutes. Fried in rendered chicken fat (schmaltz to the epicures) and salted to taste.

My one a week ode to my arteries.

Glen, if I show up with razors and stones then we will have to make stone soup and surgically slice beef with the razors for a stir fry.
