We have a place here called L&M Hawaiian BBQ that is the bomb and I have to have LOCO MOCO with a side of Portuguese sausage every time I'm there
No, it makes you a man of good taste, IMO! You'd fit right in on the islands. You sound like a local.

Loco Moco with a side of Portuguese sausage? Oh my. Truly heaven on a plate. I'm very familiar with L&L BBQ. That's Ohana Hawaiian for sure.

In Hawaii, you can walk into a Safeway or Times or Foodland Supermarket and easily see 20 linear feet of aisle devoted to Spam of every sort. It's awesome. And the first time I had Spam Sushi? Shut the front door! Blew me away. I could have eaten 20 large portions of that.

Portuguese sausage. Wow. Could I go for a huge hunk of that right about now.

    Thanks for the post.

When you guys are referring to 'Portuguese Sausage' are you talking about Linguisa? Just wondering
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

More or less,I have had Linguica many times but that's what's it's called on the Islands as I have been taught. And that's how it's marketed in Sakura Square(Little Japan) here in Denver.

I have never been to the Islands but I have known a few islanders in my day and they enlightened me....oh it is delicious . And Hawaiin ladies are beautiful but I wouldn't probably make a good surfer ,JAWS wrecked me of that heh. Now I want LOCO MOCO........Deammm !!

Also thank you for the compliment of sounding like a local, that is a great honor to me.
