    Default Christmas Eve Mexican Cocktail

Campechana is a Mexican seafood cocktail. Ingredients Chopped onion, chopped cucumber, juice of a fresh lime, chopped Jalapenas, shrimp, octopus and other mixed seafoods ( medley), Tomato juice, Clamato juice, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, course ground black pepper, cilantro. My wife does not like the mixed seafood with Octopus so I substituted Crab. We make these several times a year. I like to add a little Green Tomatillo salsa to mine and a few slices of avacado

    That looks fantastic!

What is the difference between your dish and "ceviche"?

Not a lot. The Ceviche does not have the tomato and climate but does have vinegar and is typically made with fish ( Tilapia) It also normally would not be hot ( spicy) our cocktail is very much so. I do love a good ceviche also but they vary in styles
