Personally....
I've been "Traegerized" since July 2014. Some awesome food comes off these beasts of transformation. Simply amazing, what can be grilled, smoked, even baked goods can be done. Leaves hot apple and peach pies just like grandma used to bake in a wood fired oven. I'm getting hungry

I will warn you though that you have a potential fire hazard there if that lower shelf that holds the egg up is made of wood. I realize that you have an air space created by the egg feet, but that is not enough. Mine was configured in the same manner and started smoldering. I caught it just in time and doused it by throwing dirt on it. (Water would have been bad.) I would suggest that you lower the bottom shelf and put a layer of patio block or something of the sort between the egg's feet and the wood shelf. Sorry to scare you but you need to keep those eggs safe!

I have desperatly tried to become one.
So far I have bought two of them, both cracked during winter and was returned on warranty.
After the second I kinda paused for a bit, but I guess I will try again next spring.
Only this time I will make some kind of shed for it that I will keep slightly heated during the really cold months up here.

Birnando, Sounds like you need to buy it an electric blanket to allow it to snuggle up warm in the winter! LOL

I was really surprised by it, I must say.
Then again, when the temps crawls all the way down to -15-20F with the right air humidity from a warm fromt just prior to it, things tend to freeze up and crack..
