I hear ya on the storms, we switched after 3+feet of snow last weekend to rain this past week some fun

Had to get under the house yesterday to change out the water filter and check on a heater, it was quite the workout shoveling through the crud that had fallen from the roof..

My goto treat is sitting in front of the wood-stove or in the hot tub with a Hot Chocolate with a good helping of Bailey's

A bottle of Affligem Double. One of many great Belgian beers. I am Dutch, live in Germany and drink mostly Belgian beers.

Why oh why is there a bottle of coke-a-cola in frame?
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

I was kind of in a hurry, forgot to clean the junk off the table for the photo. What I'm trying to figure out is why my cell phone flipped the image sideways.

Actually that stuff's pretty mellow, and not bad to drink straight. It was the other whiskeys being passed around that needed a chaser.

    YUKON JACK

The self-styled 'Black Sheep of Canadian Liquors' is a highly potent (100 Proof) liqueur, based on Canadian whisky blended with honey.
One to warm the cockles on a cold winter's night.
Yukon Jack is near the top of my list.

I never had a problem with throat burn, maybe it's the honey!
