    Man, that brings back memories - good ones - of road trips and hunting trips with meals of Vienna sausage and crackers. And beer in a can.

    Nuthin wrong with that meal! I have a weakness for cured meats. I hate that I could eat multiple meals per day incorporating spam, sausages, bacon, ham, etc. I steer clear as much as I can.

    About ten years ago I was travelling by an award winning meat processing company in the southern part of our state. My Dad knew I was headed there and asked that I pick up a 10# bag of their natural casing wieners he wanted for a BBQ he was planning. The BBQ was canceled and he didn't want the wieners. I ate them in different forms literally for every meal daily until they were gone...............Got my first and thankfully only case of gout from the experience!
