    Default Cookies

Gave our new Kitchenaid stand mixer non tilting head a work out this morning and made 2 batches of oatmeal and raisin cookies. What an improvement over the old electric hand held mixer. Looks like it is shortbread cookies tomorrow and possibly some peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. Tis mixer is going to make me fatter for sure.

Our Kitchenaid mixer is now about 40 years old and still going strong. Worth every penny it cost.

There is a great PB cookie recipe. One cup of peanut butter, one cup of sugar and one egg is the ratio. Good stuff for certain.

Almost sounds like the recipe that was on a Kraft peanut butter jar label years ago. If so it was good.

Could be. I have no idea where the recipe came to me from. Great cookies though.

I've made them in the past, my mother loved them. My recipe has you make the balls, then roll in granulated sugar before using the tines of an eating fork to flatten them out.

They are also great for those who can't have wheat--

Great cookies for certain. The recipe is also super easy to remember. Very easy to make small batches too.

Yea, that is the recipe. The syllabus for tomorrow is now a double batch of peanut butter cookies, with chocolate chips of course, in the morning followed by a double batch of short bread cookies in the afternoon. That should do for the Christmas season.
