I saw that on Youtube a while back. The bread is in the bread machine. The plan is to cook it for lunch. But I will be using a cast iron skillet.
A healthy skepticism of both old and new ideas is essential to learning.

Thanked: 3215Love an egg sandwich, have never made one like that but I also love grilled cheese with added ingredients.
We use mayonnaise in place of butter, to grill a nice crust on the outside and is not as soggy. I know sounds weird, but give it a try, do not need much.
Also, there are eggs and there are eggs. We live near an Agricultural College and can pickup farm fresh organic eggs of different varieties. Good well raised eggs make a huge difference, with large golden yellow yokes, pricier but worth the cost difference.
Will have to give this a try, perhaps with Spam, love the spam not the low fat, low sodium low anything, full-strength old-school Spam, browned to a nice crust.

That looks great, quick and easy.
Spam, diced peppers and onions, mushrooms...the possibilities are endless.
Yum.

I've made quite a few, with the use of a campfire iron.
Even use them on the range top, in the houseMike

Kinda fun really hehehe
I mean we can all make a fried egg Sammie, but this did add a bit of "Pizazzzz" to the process"No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"

This reminds a bit about something from years ago. There was a writer at our local paper who wrote about all kinds of things about the outdoors. Camping, hiking, fishing, hunting etc and I loved to read his articles.
One article was comparing his age old propane single burner to the newer ones. While the newer ones did work a bit better he said he'd stick with his old one as the New Ones didn't go 'Pisssst'. When starting up.
Ok, ok---------------Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
