The latter is difficult to order because so few bartenders know how to make it. The recipe is, as follows:

1 1/2 oz dry vermouth
3/4 oz creme de cassis
carbonated water

the gin martini is kinda redundant, is there really any other martini. i do love a martini every now and then. ill have to try a vermouth cassis
