Cold Kielbasa and Muenster cheese with sweet onion and butter with a dill pickle on the side, and a big ice cold glass of cider.

Turkish bun with a cooked egg, truffle mayonaise (we got a jar of truffle paste, simply mix it with mayonaise) and coarse sea salt. Or Turkish bun with baked chicken and curry paste mayonaise. I live 300 metres away from a Turkish bakery (or 6, really) and their buns are the best. At €0.20 each!

Also, slightly off-topic: drink a beer while taking a shower after a hot day. It's brilliant.

Wouldnt your beer get warm and watered down?

OK, I'll share... but I won't limit myself to just one.

    Meatloaf
Two slices of store-brand white bread
    Ketchup
    Mayonnaise
    Cold meatloaf

Place bread slices on cutting board and smear liberally with mayonnaise. Position 1/4"-thick slices of meatloaf on one slice. Apply ketchup liberally. Place other bread slice (mayonnaise-side down) on meatloaf. Season to taste.

    Fried Egg
Two slices of store-brand white bread
    Ketchup
    One egg

Fry an egg -- sunny-side up -- in a small (max dia 6") frying pan. Place bread slices on cutting board and smear liberally with ketchup. Position fried egg on one slice. Season to taste. Place other bread slice (ketchup-side down) on egg, and gently press.

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I did this sandwich two weeks ago and it was really great.

    Chopped liver
    Mayonnaise
Sliced porc cooked in rufus teague sauce
    Cucumber
    Carrot
    Banana pepper rings

    All that in a baguette

That my version of a Bánh mě with what I had in the kitchen.

Thanks! I got hooked on grilled-cheese sandwiches during three cold Fairbanks winters. A bit too much cold-weather comfort food, but that's all behind me, now.

I should put the boogie board on top of the boat, esky lid and raised table in one, for the sangers I would put them in a container first or the ice will make them all soggy.
