Paulaner is definitely sold in the US. It is actually very available. Salvator is one of my favorites. Some people may not know what you mean by the wrong glass. No one in the US has a special glass for each brand and type of beer. I was in Germany recently and every beer I ordered came in a glass with the brand and type of beer label on the glass. And it was always poured to the line. In the US, you're lucky to even get a glass. Usually they just give you the bottle and you have specifically ask for a glass.
