Default A pint (or several) in your local "house of refreshment"

Just sitting enjoying a tooth or two of fine ale from my tankard in my local. All by myself (I do prefer my own company now and again).

Truly one of the finer things in life for me

    Have a superb weekend chaps.
Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on!

    Default BOTD Weizenbock homebrew

I am enjoying a Weizenbock that I brewed about two months ago and I kegged it in a Cornelius keg and put it in a kegerator; well sort of, I refuse to drill a hole in my new fridge so I build an internal wood thingamajig for my tap....attached is a picture showing the full Pinocchio.Name: license_20130623064958_75500.jpg

Next thing I will build is a sort of platform for the CO2 bottle which is dangerously leaning to one side; it has about 500 PSI of pressure. HOG

    That sounds like a plan.
I don't know why but when I read that I imagined the CO2 bottle tipping over and shoot away like a balloon in a funny cartoon way. Does that mean it's time for bed?

Yes, that bottle can do a lot of damage...so this weekend, I am going to try to make the base/stand for it....as I write this I am enjoying a sniffer of the brew, attached is a pick of the victim. HOG

    Chicken!

Drill the hole. Worst case scenario you will have to put a refrigerator magnet on to cover it.

    500 PSIG is nothing.
