The rogues gallery of suds currently occupying a corner of my fridge along with some more pedestrian stuff like Fat Tire. I have actually come to prefer the Rochefort 8 to the 10.

Update on German beers. I was looking for a dunkels like what I used to get in northern Baden-Wurttemburg back in my misspent youth, so that says the Franconian variety as opposed to the stuff from farther south in Bavarian, which is still darn good. I read somewhere that Ayinger was the stuff, so I tried it and it took me back to moderately hazy nights at the Schwimbadhalle or one of the small discos in Heidlelberg circa 1986 watching the hot little rich neo-commie college girls shake their groove things.on the dance floor

If you ever get the Chance, try a Bayreuther Aktien Landbier, i dont know if they export it (in Germany its avaiable in many well sorted Beer Shops) but if they do, you could have beer thats dark (not as dark as a Guiness), tasty and with a flavour of sweet malt, not so strong like the dark belgian Trapist Beers but stronger than other german dark beers like Altbier for example.

This ones from the Great Lakes Brewery. Karma Citra IPA. 6.6% alc. 65 IBU, and 650ml of pure goodness!

This beer is part of their tank ten series, which is the number ten fermenting tank has been reserved for the brewers working there, to do whatever they want with. Cool idea!

Annnnnnnnnd it's a sideways pic......... man I hate that.

It's hard to beat a Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA. Their seasonal Aprihop is also excellent.

Try mixing them. I work across the street from the Dogfish pub in MD and the Aprihop-90 is one of my favorite drinks there. Second choice is the 60min and 90min mixed, called an Alehouse 75.
