    Default Funky Buddah. Floridian.

It is hot here in SoFlo so what better to drink that a refreshing wheat beer; this is brewed 60 miles up the road from me and it is nice for this weather. The Whitbier that I brewed and kegged will be good in about a week, will post tasting notes. Here is a pic of the culprit.

Otto. That beer you drinking looks like a stout or a black IPA. Cheers. HOG

Hogrider: It was a stout. A nice beer.

Nice! I just read in this last publication of Zymurgy (American Homebrewer's Association magazine) that Saison beer taking in moderation is a good Probiotic for the gut. HOG

    Cool BOD - Lagunitas Sucks

Well, contrary to its name, Lagunitas Sucks does not suck. It is a world class DIPA and it is delicious. I highly recommend it! Heavy hopped as it should for its type and packing over 9% ABV. And remember folks; continue to drink beer and support your local brewery. HOG

Sorry to be a bit off topic, but saw who started the thread & it just reminded me how much Bluegill is missed. 'A fairly new shaver, using humble gear w/ his own edges, his sister's homemade soap. He exuded joy & it was contagious.

For you new shavers, I wish for you the joy Bluegill wrote large on these pages.
