Okay fellers....just got back from costplus world market(Love that store). Got some Barry's gold blend(Irish Black Tea) a new creamer that matches me sugar bowl(Nice) and two 125 g.(approx 4 oz. each) Jars of Marmite (Yeah). So here's some pics......First since I had ne breakfast today,I mauwed down on Marmite toast and tea as soon as I got home ......Next....My Tea thingy's.....sugar bowl, new creamer,My Cozy that I've had since the mid 90's,bought at the Estes Park Scottish festival when I was a student piper/recruit for the City of Denver Pipes and Drums (They rock!) the cozy has a bean bag coaster for the bottom (Tartan is Black Watch) and My awesome steel Tea Pot that I bought for ,5 bucks at the Vietnamese grocery market. I will someday get a Brown Betty pot when I can legitimize the need. That little pot(originally a kettle but doesn't boil well.) brews and excellent pot Of tea and stays hot for a good while and is a tough little sucker . Think I'll name it Wee Jimmy ! Well....gonna get another cup and got some homemade Potato bacon vegetable soup on the hob. See you guys in a bit.Attachment 109325Attachment 109320Attachment 109321Attachment 109322.............TTFN:chapeau

I've had Vegemite... I can't say that I love it or Hate it... It has it's place... I've been told that it's great on meat while cooking... I've eaten it on crackers... Rather salty, but manageable...
I'm guessing that Marmite is about the same... :OT :OT
Pretty Much and not too off topic really,it's the English equivelent and...it's something that goes with Tea.Here's a tip for those who are unaccustomed to dealing with Marmite. Mix equal amounts of butter and mite together before spreading..gets a better spread and distribution. And it's awesome on Potatoes. Hobbit approved of course ! :chapeau
Because it's not in the thread and should be after all............happy Unbirthday guys ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVzyGQPgVN8
