The best I can do :)
I know of it ,but have not seen it anywhere here. Just got done with breakfast and of course ,Marmite was present mmmmm ! Salty goodness!:) Loving the Barry's gold too. For those not in the know...Most british blacks are blends of Assam,Ceylon(Sri Lanka) and Kenyan teas ergo Indian and African and sometimes chinese teas which are generally stronger heartier teas. Kinda like the coffee of the tea world.
Carl,
I got tired of trying, after seeing a post on this thread, to make my own sugar cubes. I decided that I would purchase some. At any rate, it will maybe help the faltering sugar miners world wide. I notice that U.S. sugar is in cube form, whereas your Aussie sugar is not. I think it has something to do with Union rules. but, I digress. I would like to be able to get some Aussie sugar to go along with my American sugar, I think it would enhance my building of little sugar buildings whilst waiting for water to boil, it would help on corners, archways and windows. What brand is yours, mine are C&H, but on my last trip to Hawaii, I learned that the last of the sugar mills was closing down. Anyhoo, I got them, along with some Oolong in bags. Later all, donvAttachment 109384
Looks like a job for a custom sugar mill, one that specializes in architectural elements. Last one I knew of was in Hawaii. Maybe there's one in eastern Colorado, working with beet sugar. It's really a boutique market, you know.
Now, this is global participation, I'll send you some CSR brand (of course) sugar 'cubes' and you can send me some good 'ole U S of A proper cubes. My son made a pretty good Space Invader figure the other day out of sugar cubes, I was so proud. The thing is, at 15 I was proud that he actually KNEW what Space Invaders were. I used to love that game, that and Galaxion. We used to play Space Invaders ALL day when it was too cold to surf...
And now I feel old.......Yes...Space Invaders..when dirt was invented I remember.:aargh:
TOTM just now, early evening
New tea, and I'm strangely excited...
Silver Needle mixed with Osmanthus flowers, Safflower and Jasmine flower petals.
I'm not thus far enamoured. I actually prefer my own mix of 50/50 Partially fermented black tea and Fruit Melange...
Maybe it'll grow on me? I steeped for five minutes. I might buy either some Silver Needle by itself or some Pu Erh on Thursday..

(yet, it's a vintage French coffee bowl; not a tea vessel, I think I need a nice, old, Chinese tea vessel...)
