Tea Of The Moment
...and what a tea blend it was; Silver Needle and Osmanthus flowers mixed with Fruit Melange, 2 lumps of sugar...

Sounds great Carl! But I would prefer this without sugar :)
Carl, what a light effect! ...and tea! :)

Today and yesterday I tried out several teas. All samples sent by that great Gentleman Phil (Nosewarmer). One was a herbal tea bag infusion that at first taste (cup) gave me the decided opinion that I now knew what boiled ants with nest tasted like with a little suger thrown in. It really did not appeal. A second cup today was much better than the first one yesterday, so I think this is one that you would grow into...Or not. This morning was Swan black tea. This was more to my taste indeed. Nothing fancy. Just a pure black tea blend with a bit of guts to it. Reminds me of Billy tea, just not quite as strong. Similar in flavour though.
Tonight showed me what a heathen I am, when it comes to tea, for tonight I tried Pu-erh. This stuff may have come from Phil, but it was sent from Heaven. I have found tea Nirvana...I'm still a heathen though, as I preferred the slight sweetening of the taste when I added a little milk.
I've sourced a few specilist shops around the area now that stock mre than the usual types of tea, and I look forward to trying a few other varieties. I may even be able to get some sample packs to help me find a selection of tea Nirvana's for all seasons :).

Mick,
Good luck on you're Pu-erh quest... So much to choose from... I still love the Earth/Leather flavor... And it does good for the belly...
The bags were something that I got from my Devil-in-Law... It might grow on you... I find the flavor alright, but it is on the SWEET side...
The SWAN is a good black tea... However, the tanan hurts my belly if I brew it to long...
MICK... ENJOY!
