Took the wife on another date to the Book Celler... They introduced me to a "London Fogg"... Earl Grey based with steamed milk and a dash of vanillia... It was the best towards the botton of the paper cup... Sorry no picture...
Now, up for dinner... Iced Tea, Sausage, Kraut & Potato Pancakes with Spicey Mustard and a little KatSoup...

Nice !! We were on the same wavelength.I went to the german restaurant tonight. Had Paprika Schnitzel,boiled potatoes,spaetzle,and a Paulaner w/ Apfel Schnapps on the side.

Well, been off for a while, but I have now changed states and settled into work. Alas I am still in a hotel for the next 5 weeks until our house becomes available to move into. So to help me get through it I got a tin of Puerh. No photos but man! First time I tried this tea and for everyone else out there that hasn't tried it... you gotta! It's mellow enough to drink at any time yet has an amazing earthy flavour. All bar oolong I think this is going to be a favorite of mine. Thanks Bella for introducing me to it!

Steph, I don't know if this qualifies as "Hobbit" approved, but it's traditional Portuguese that I grew up with, and I've taught my daughter how to make it to carry it on. Sopa de Couve. AKA, Kale soup. The pictures would have been prettier yesterday, but I make it thick and then let it set and it got thicker. I didn't have any Linquica, but put ~ 1/2 pound of fried, diced bacon in it. Rounded out the soup with a, easy now, instant sugar free peach iced tea. Next time, either prettier pictures or Sopa de Funche, fennel soup.

Looks like Hobbit food to me...Well at least the entre to something else anyway. Makes me hungry actually. But I won't be bothering to do any cooking right now. Too late for that. Might just go make me a little snack though. Catch you all later...
