I would say, though, that your tea needs a lot more whisking than that. If you can still see tea through the froth, then you still have work to do!

Something like this is what you want to aim for:

Nice even, thick froth with as few large air bubbles as you can get.
Best technique is a brisk back and forth or W motion, with an occasional circle or two. Once the froth is nice and thick, continue whisking but lift the chasen so that it's only just touching the froth itself; this will get rid of any large bubbles.
Finish off by circling the chasen around the edge and then lifting it out from the middle of the bowl.
Practice makes perfect, though. My matcha was always inconsistent until recently, now I'm regularly getting good results.
One more top tip is to sift the matcha through a tea strainer or something first. The difference in flavour between sifted and unsifted match is surprising!

The tea was VERY HOTTTT! But the experience was the best...
Tea is a social thing, that is the time that a person get's to know about the other, their family, extended family... There is NO business that get done until at least one cup in gone...
In Iraq, the people drink their tea VERY sweet... No wonder half of them are diabetic :)
There were lot's of middle eastern style teas on the market, so after our business was complete with the Iraqi Command Staff I would ask what brand of tea we had been drinking if I liked the flavor... My LA's would go to the market for me and bring that brand back and we would enjoy it for several days... Some days ended up just being a tea day and nothing ever got done business wise... (This is someting that American's lack, social time).
I will admit that the office "managers" were best at brewing tea, if the Generals did it, it was a whole new thing... ;(
For the most part, Tea & Bread was the staple of mornings... And such a wonderful thing it was... I miss it...
