Tea anyone ??!!

Okay, so it looks like I'm in the minority here when it comes to lapsang souchong, haha. I'll just have to try some different varieties of it then; maybe find one where the smoky taste doesn't club you over the head and see if that makes much of a difference. Thanks for the recommendation, OCDshaver.

I have the same feeling about Twinings Earl Grey. it is a very nice tea. In the grocery stores here, there's also a Twinings Lady Grey tea, which is basically the standard early grey with a bit of citrus flavour added. It's quite delicious, and I actually prefer it over Twinings' standard earl grey, as good as it is. Haven't had it in such a long time though. I'd go out and buy some, but I have a bunch of other teas I bought in small quantities to try that I should finish off first.

Wow! I like smoked foods but the rest...Wow ! Finnish tar lozenges...that's hardcore.

I was never a Lapsong fan either. Tried it and it tasted like smoky syrup.

If you are a beer drinker, find a German Rouchbier (smoked beer) or a Steinbier (stone beer). Both very smokey.

I did try a Rauchbier once before too. Didn't care for that either. Maybe smoked beverages aren't for me...

Smoked foods and my pipe are about as smokey as I like it. I'm into fruity so....Ciders,Schnapps etc.

Tried this Tie Kwan Yin Oolong the other day:

It was not bad. I thought it tasted sort of similar to a green tea, but it had a heavier feel to it, so that was nice. Nothing in particular stood out and grabbed my attention, but it certainly wasn't unpleasant. I should try more oolongs, see if I can find one I like as much as a black tea.

This morning I loaded up the travel mug with Golden Monkey black tea and a teaspoon of honey.
We are warming up here and I expect to be drinking more green tea. For some reason green tea seems to fit warmer weather.
