Gin Drinkers Ahoy!!!
I know that gin is one of those lost tastes in the alcohol drinking world, but we are also the people who shave our faces with a sharpened piece of steel. What's the best on the market? I tend to gravitate toward tangueray. But I love them all, still looking forward to pick up a bottle of Henderson's if not for the taste then the bottle. Enjoy the post!

This thread gives me a headache just reading it....:)

I'm quite fond of Bombay Sapphire myself

I am a tangueray guy myself when I do drink gin. I am personally more of a scotch/whiskey drinker myself. But I do agree that gin is a lost taste that is making its comeback.

If you can find it I prefer Voyager gin. It is made in Washington State and has a perfect balance of botanicals and not too heavy on the juniper berries.
It is made in Portuguese alembic stills, very smooth.

I like Tanqeray No 10 in my gimlets.

I've had one of my worst hangovers from drinking too much Gin. I think it was Plymouth Gin. Even now the taste brings nightmares and lizards of the darkness to my mind. Not to speak of the moral hangover that is another story. First i was afraid that i gonna die and then i was afraid that i wont die.
Well never say never, but ever since i've chosen something else.

Oooo my favourite tipple!:) I usually have a bog standard bottle of Gordon's Gin in stock but for special occassions Plymouth, Bombay Sapphire or Tangueray are my picks. I always keep my Gin in the freezer too! lol The worst hangover came from drinking Lager though, I can handle my spirits, hehehehe ;):D

Luckily the best gin for me, Gordons, is also quite inexpensive. I find some of the more expensive ones overrated. Yet to try Hendricks tho.

gordons is nice so is beefeater.
has anyone tried a silver bullet? its a drink made by mixing gin with a splash of whiskey and adding some lemon juice. no hangovers either
