MrMagnus,,,that post was a pleasure to look at, thank you.
There was a lot of skill put into that dinner,,,,many times I have dreamed that I am a chef because I love to eat different things; you always see smiles on people's faces when you present them a dish of food like that & I've never seen anybody get angry with their chef,,,
+1 Magnus...presentation means a lot and you done well friend.:)
Mr Magnus, ahhhhh Masi Amarone, or most Amarone's....one of my absolute favorites back in the day when alcohol didn't turn my insides into mush, my head into an electrical storm and make my mouth feel like a baby dragon went potty in it!!
Excellent match for a meat dish....I remember choosing a very expensive '94 Amarone with some duck that I was serving. Back in the day when the first bottle was the nice stuff, next bottles were planc...the cheap stuff, because by then it didn't matter...good times!
Saturday dinner, made by wifey: steak, mashed potatoes, fried onion & veggies.
