Thanked: 2284Can't believe how much snow we have had this past week. If I had to guess, I'd say we've had at least 12-14" since last sunday. Almost every morning and every evening i'm shovelling or blowing snow. It's nice to come in by the fire and have a great Whiskey. Last night after blasting some snow I sat down to this one.
Stranahan's Colorado Single Malt.

We went on an out of town doctor trip yesterday. The weather forecast was off and we did the return trip in the freezing rain. Not much snow yet.
I've read about people standing in line at Stranahan's to buy a bottle and it selling out. It must be really good stuff.

Thanked: 2284Yes, I caught wind of this Whiskey by accident, and had heard that it was incredibly popular. Did a quick search online at LCBO.com and my local shop had 20 bottles. Didn't take me long to get one before the rage hit here as well.
Blatons is a bottle that disappears here, extremely quick. I check LCBO and there's only 2 bottles in Ontario for sale, and they're in Ottawa.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

Thanked: 2284American single malt, it's pretty special stuff. I'm not that familiar with my whiskeys yet, but I don't think there's too many American companies making single malts. Hope they have some barrels ageing for the long haul!!
Now if only they did a peated version. Could you imagine how long that would stay on the shelves!!!???Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....
