[QUOTE=rolodave;1706123]No it's the single barrell reserve that's a little hot. It's 120 proof. Tc. The small batch 9 that Andrew got s perfect, but the 120 just needs a couple ice cubes, Or I think Charlie polished of my bottle straight up!

I have a bottle of the 120 proof single barrell reserve
Has anyone tried whistle pig? I'm really really wanting a bottle of the 10 year. If I sell a razor or two I might get the 12 year...

Most of the time I drink the small batch that Andrew got, but Charlie seemed to like this one so I got another,, but I,m growing fonder of it all the time
It's a Rye Whiskey is it not? Pricey here. Over $100 Canadian. You want a good Rye, try Lot 40. Love that crap!

It's always scary dropping that much on something unknown. That being said, it's probably good. But, is it any better than something cheaper like Lot 40, or Stalk and barrel Rye Whiskey. I have my doubts.

True. Maybe it will go on my birthday/Christmas list until I get more of the less expensive brands under my belt. It's just like razors I guess. Didn't take me long to want iwasaki and Bruno wootz...

Bulleit rye, in my opinion, is one of the best whiskeys out there.
When I drink it I'm reminded of a really good dark rye bread with a little sweetness on the finish.
Great flavor and bang for the buck. Around $45.00 for the 1.75L bottle here.
One of my all time favorites.
