Never understood the price delta for GG over say, absolut or Smirnoff. To me, all vodka’s aspire to be invisible and why pay more for more-less? Course I only use vodka with OJ or Clamato juice anyway so it’s a bias, not an attack on those that like it..
I don’t blink an eye at dropping 3 figures on the right teenage whiskey of dubious lineage so…. It’s all good..
At the end of the night I offer this:

I don't understand your US readings Mike.
In Canada it's different, I aim to have a morning fasting sugar of 7 or less and at bedtime less than 8, if i can get it below 7 i don't have the needle.
Course i stocked up on Tostitos and Salsa Dip for Crimbo and I'm still wading through it so I'm going through that Insulin pretty fast. Bedtime sugar of about 14 - bad me.
Anything between 90-100 is a normal glucose reading for a non diabetic. I've been off insulin since last April or May, when my A1C had dropped from a 6 to a 3. I just take a pill twice a day. (Metformin 500mg)
I still eat some sweets every now n then, but I'm not washing it all down with milk anymore. That's what caused my diabetes.!
My average weekly intake of whole milk was 2 - 2 1/2 gallons. I could down a pint, like a shot of whiskey, just loved it.!
