Happy Birthday mate :beer1:
Thanks for the compliment, and many happy returns of the day. For the record, your descriptions are just fine with me. Sometimes "plain talk" can drive a point home more readily, after all. CHEERS.
Today I am reviewing a Canadian Whisky. Highwood's Distillery's Ninety 20 year old Canadian Rye Whisky, which is actually made with 100% corn.

I'm into Dad's stache right now. Just finished a little CR Northern Harvest, and now I'm into his Glennlivet 12.
I bought a bottle of Eagle Rare 10 the other day. The northern Border series is delayed by the LCBO to coincide with their "whisky month" promo.
Get the LOT 40 Cask Strength 55% abv, and one of the best of the bunch.
My newest bourbon addition is Angels Envy.
A little higher priced at $50.00 for 750ml., but Wow! It's phenomenal!

Anyone ever had a pickleback?
I found this on Angels Envy website under "Pairings."
You can also find it if you do a Google search.
You follow up a swig of bourbon with a swig of dill pickle brine.
The pickle brine neutralizes the burn from the ethyl alcohol in the bourbon.
As wierd as it sounds, curiosity got the best of me and I tried it last night. I must say...
They might be onto something...if you like pickles.
