Having myself a nice glass of Blanton's. I'm sad to see my bottle is running low, and it's not sold here in Canada. Oh well, rumour has it that there's plenty of whiskey to be had up here in the Northwoods.Attachment 90758
Had a glass of Old George.. a small batch whiskey sold in Traverse City, MI by Grand Traverse Distillery. Also had Bruichladdich Rocks which is an un-peated scotch. Very smooth. Since tomorrow is my birthday may have to go out and buy a new bottle to celebrate with.
Elmer T Lee today. It is becoming my regular go-to bourbon when I want something simple.
I would drink Laphroaig everyday if I could afford it.
Crown Royal Perfect Manhattan after my shave!
I could never really get down with crown, not sure why, although I've also never tried a manhattan
A Manhattan is great...the mixer is more alcohol! I would have to say that I prefer a Bourbon Manhattan over anything Canadian, but I thought I'd give it a whirl!
What is the recipe you normally use
I haven't read all the posts so forgive me if it was previously mentioned. 12 yr Dalmore is a great scotch. My freind introduced me to Dalmore after it was the favorite pick at a scotch tasting event. Dalmore is around 44.00 but beat out all the others including several very expensive brands. It was a blindfolded tasting as well. It has a wonderful flavor and is great over ice.
One of my favourite Scotch's is Bowmore 18 yr old. If you like a smokey fiery scotch, you can't beat it.
