    Don't get me wrong, the distillers edition is beautiful too but what i like about the 12y is that it's 4y younger. Thus stronger and more playful in taste (floral). But you'll have a great islay for the collection i can guarantee!

    I also saw that the participants at the recent NATO summit in Wales were gifted Penderyn whisky. Thought that was nice for the distillery as well.

    I almost tried the Aberlour 12 today. It was a toss up between that and Macallan 12.
