I feel your pain. Virginia has state run liquor stores, so our QC price is about the same as yours, $59.95 no matter what store in the state I go.

Not to mention most of the non-standard releases are not even available. I can't even get Laphroaig cask strength without driving to another state.

After taking another piece out of my finger....not strictly 'medicine' (ie. Laphroaig!!) but useful for sterilisation of the wound nonetheless.
