    Yeah,Mcbladescar, that's the glass I saw. I saw a tutorial recently that shows a beer bottle being turned into a drinking glass and wondering if something similar could be done with a whisky bottle.

    If you can turn a beer bottle into a drinking glass then why wouldn't you be able to do the same with a whiskey bottle? They're both glass

    The method I saw used burning yarn, wrapped around the bottle, to heat the glass. After the yarn is burnt the glass is put in an ice bath. The glass should break cleanly where the yarn was wrapped around the bottle. With a thicker beer bottle this process might need to be done several times. I am worried a whiskey bottle would be too thick for this to work.

    Tonight it is a dram of Highland Park 12.
