Settling in for the Walking Dead finale with one of my new favourites: Jura Supersition

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I'll have to defer judgement on this one. Sure, I love bourbon, and I love bacon...and bourbon-cured bacon sounds delish. But I'm not sure that I'd enjoy them together as a drink. Perhaps I'll try it if I can find a place that offers samples.

    Has anyone tried this, yet?

Gotta love it when big companies get behind April 1st.
(Difficult keeping the humour right across the different time zones here at SRP)
Would certainly be an interesting concept...

Been getting acquainted with my Laphroaig Quarter Cask. It took a couple of days for me to get to know it. First couple of days, it was Ok, now it's great with a hint of water. Enjoying the aftertaste as I type this.

    Enjoy.

Not that one, but I did have a bacon infused bourbon from a bar in Dallas. Served with a slice of raw jalapeno in the shot glass. It's not as bad as I worried, but it was just a gimmicky shot. Very slight smoky/saltiness I expect much the same from that.

Salty, smokey whisky with a slice of jalapeno sounds quite nice to me. Laphroaig 10 again today, should be able to finish the review at last.

Just have to chime in on this one. Its one of my favorites its got a lot of vanilla going on and can stand up to a bit of water as it is cask strength at 52 abv. i really hope you enjoy it. A great relaxing drink for me.

    cheers
    Don't drink and shave!
