I picked up a bottle of Glenmorangie 10 year on Friday. It came with three little sample bottles.

Enjoyed some of this bottle - Arran 10 year old. Great liquid. Spingbank-ish, but not really.

Nice idea to include other expressions in the box. Whisky with extra whisky... there should be more of this kind of thing.

I have to be honest - Penderyn has been on my radar for a little over a year now. I have seen it on the shelf and wanted to pick it up, but always had other targets at the time. Definitely one I will try. Which of the expressions do you prefer and recommend?

I accept your challenge!! (I just don't know when.)

    Hi Paul,

I would go for the Madeira single malt we would all love to try the Penderyn single cask but at £150 a bottle that's off my menu until I win the lottery.:-)

I also saw that the participants at the recent NATO summit in Wales were gifted Penderyn whisky. Thought that was nice for the distillery as well.

Aberlour. This is one of my favorites.

I almost tried the Aberlour 12 today. It was a toss up between that and Macallan 12.
