Nice. I assume you've had the Laphroaig 10 as well? If so, how do you compare that with the Ardbeg 10? I have both and find they are very different other than the difference in ABV. When I bring Ardbeg 10 down to the same ABV as the Laphroaig 10 to compare, to me Ardbeg 10 is a very "bright" whisky, treble if you will, under the smoke; whereas Laphroaig 10 is very bass under the smoke. Don't know if that makes sense. I really pick up the bourbon notes in the Laphroaig 10. Ardbeg 10 for me under the smoke is much more fruity. Both good.

I have had, but it's been long enough that I couldn't really compare them directly. Sounds like a good excuse to pick up a bottle of Laphroaig ten.
