Although it had a bar that we frequented when we were off duty, we had a ritual where we'd buy 3-4 bottles each of Snapple raspberry iced tea. We'd crack our bottles open, take a swig or two of tea to make room for a good amount of Maker's Mark and sip from the bottle. No glasses needed. It was good that way from the bit I can recall of those days as a guy in my early twenties.....

Getting lit watching Kojak reruns in our room in the middle of nowhere on the shores of Lake Superior.....

Sounds like a great time!

But I will have to disagree on the Maker's, as I like good old red-wax Maker's just fine, especially in a mint julep.
