Here's a list of under $100US (before taxes) Japanese whiskies in the Seattle area. I get a lot from both these folks at other WA stores.

The only Japanese whiskey I've tried was the Yamakazi 12 year old. It reminded me of a Speyside Scotch.

Talisker Storm! It was on sale at our local bottle shop so we gave it a try. Wow! This is a total seaside peat bomb, but really smooth and nice. I can certainly try more of this. There's even a little honey at the back of the palate.

I enjoy the Abelour. In fact, I brought a bottle of 18 year old and a bag-piper to the Cemetary to toast my Dad at the one year anniversary of his passing.
