Back when I would have a nip or two and when it was Scotch it was Glenlevitt. The spelling might not be right but the scotch was.

That pickle thing-um, just no....but to each his own. I've been kind of broke lately, so have gone back to an old standby, George Dickel 12. I find it way too easy to drink a lot of that stuff; it's just very sweet and delicious!

After a two year quest for a reasonably priced Yamazaki 18 year. Got a call at ten AM and had it home in 20 minutes. The little store down the street is just blowing my mind. Last week they got me tawny port no body has around here. Any how...

From the smooth and balanced drinking mechanics I can see why it got a high ratings. A little short on the finish which surprised me but that can come from the balance.

One more crossed off the 'Bottle List' with this year's birthday binge.

The Nikka 21 is still my favorite.

My Christmas quest is some Jefferson’s Wood Experiment. Any body try it?

This is the one that got picked as "best in the world" a few years back, yes? I have heard that the Japanese single malts get "delicate" as they get older. Not sure what they mean by that, but I would love to find out.

Tomorrow's review, as I wait impatiently for the Northern Border Collection to get released across the Province, I'll be enjoying some Four Roses, or some Eagle Rare 10 yr old.

Sorry, got caught up in some rum experiments. Here is my review of Four Roses Small Batch.

I prefer it with water, have not tried it with soda yet.

Gonzo4st8razors brought Bowmore to the meet this last weekend. I am not a scotch guy but that was very smooth and enjoyable.
