    Sipping Highland Park 12 as I type this. It's good stuff! I had tried an Islay (Bruichladdie "Rocks") and didn't care for it. But my Mackinlay Rare Highland Malt (the "Shackleton" whisky) has a smokiness from Orkney peat that I find agreeable. Since HP is from Orkney, I figured "why not?" and bought a bottle today. Very enjoyable and complex.
