Thread: Coffee Enthusiasts

Hello Caffeine Consumers! Glad I found y'all. I don't roast or grind my own, yet. I do enjoy several mugs of "Get me Going" in the morning. My brew from years of trying and sampling many varieties; Community Between Roast through the Bella drip I found at Tuesday Morning, with a splash, ok - a glug of Coffee Mate Cinnamon and Vanilla Creme.
I don't use my French press for coffee as I prefer not to chew grounds with my last sip. The press does steep a great cup of tea.
When I make sweet tea I prefer brewing in a small sauce pan using Lipton's and a tea ball stuffed with dried mint harvested from my own patch.

What French press are you using? That's what I use, and it's a cheap one, but I don't get grounds at all , a little silt in the cup when done but that's it. Tc

Left-over-java: a mix of PC's Great Canadian Coffee + Muskoka Maple + Lavazza Crema e Gusto in a French Press.

Silt. A good word to describe it. My press is a mystery. Brews 3-1/2 cups, enough for a couple big mugs of tea. I don't have the box it came in 4-6 years ago, but Bodum rings a bell.
