    Default Scotch and cream.

    Shaving cream, that is.

Just got back from two weeks in the UK visiting London, Winchester, and Edinburgh. Spent some time in TOBS where both SWMBO and I got to smell all of their products; picked up sandalwood and their Eton College scent, which we both liked.

The whiskies in Scotland were delightful and it was fun to pop into a bar and check out the whisky menu. Went to a place called the Bow Bar twice, where the shelves were just lined with single-malts:

Later we went to a restaurant that offered a variety of samplers. Years ago my wife got me my first bottle of proper single-malt, Dalwhinnie 15yr; as such, Highland whisky has been my favorite so I went with the restaurant's Highland sampler. To my surprise, the Edradour 10yr was my favorite of the bunch. It's one that I don't recall seeing on menus or in liquor stores in my area, so that's what I came home with. It's billed as being the smallest distillery in Scotland:

My little haul from the trip; if not for luggage space, TSA, and US Customs, it would have been much more.

Nice to hear you had a good trip and returned home safely, and with some bounty to boot.
At least you can get the apothecary item here.
Enjoy the Scotch slowly, when it is a favorite it always seems to go to fast.

I am glad you enjoyed the trip. The sampler looks wonderful and your haul very nice. Enjoy your Scotch and other items.

I spent six years in grad school in Scotland and miss it terribly! I can't wait to get back, but until then, I'll enjoy it vicariously via others' experiences.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

The bar seem to be the scotch paradise, i would suggest to try a Glenmorangie Quinta ruban this is one of my favorite scotch.
I hope you liked your trip, now Scotland is in number one of my travel list .
