And what ever you have left over you can use on your salad??

Actually you're right. It has been used as a skin cleaner and toner in the past. The use of vinegar goes back at least to Ancient Rome where Roman solders were issued an allotment of vinegar for medicinal uses.Last edited by Johnus; 01-17-2014 at 01:31 AM.

I use equal parts rubbing alcohol and witch hazel with lime essential oil. The lime offers a short term top note and Im looking to add a longer lasting scent in my next batch. The AS is very soothing with very little bite.

With the new postal regulations I'm just wondering how long it will be before companies starting sending out the base ingredients for aftershaves and fragrances and have us add the alcohol!! Seems like it would make sense.

My routine has become to apply a splash of AS to my face and neck, then combine a splash of the same to a dollop of unscented moisturizer, and thus my custom scented ASB.
