Default Proraso Pre shave cream for post shave

A few years ago I ordered a tub of Proraso pre shave cream and gave it a try. I wasn't very impressed with it as a pre shave treatment. A few weeks later I got really bad razor burn and figured the menthol in this stuff would cool it down and BAM! Razor burn was completely gone. No redness, no burn. I don't use it very often, but whenever I get any irritation it's the first thing I reach for.

Well I use it as a pre-shave, but I then put Proraso cream on top and cover the whole thing with a hot towel. Fabulous!

I have also used it as a post shave for the same reason you did. It totally knocks down minor razor burn. I'm very impressed with this product.

    Best,

I got it too in the beginning and it was my understanding that it was sold as a Pre/Post shave cream. ,, after I used it up while I was still getting razor burn, my wife compared the ingredients after smelling it ,, and she bought me Noxema cream , a lot less money seems to do the same for my burn ,, the only thing I don't like is the menthol smell , but it does tame a burn.
