Default Best aftershave for healing skin???

Is there an after shave that is considered very, very good at healing skin damage? I don't mean nicks, just the average damage from a normal, successful shave. On a successful shave how much damage is done? Maybe very little or none? What I've been using so far seems to be working ok. I have Proraso pre/post cream, Neutrogena post shave cream and an Arko after shave cream. Skin feels pretty good after any of these. The Proraso has a menthol scent and a cooling feel.

If it makes me better looking that would be a plus. Probably asking for a lot there.

I heavily use the witch hazel after every shave, this takes care of damaged skin quite well,,,, I know its not a scented "aftershave" that you may be talking about, but 10 minutes after I use it, I can the splash on the typical scented stuff.

Witch hazel does the trick for me. If I know I've irritated my skin real bad, then I will put on Nivea after the witch hazel dries.

I still apply a light application of Noxzema Cleansing Cream and lather directly over-top. A carry over from my DE razor shaving journey. The Noxzema works just like Proraso but sells for a much better price point.

Well, I can't believe I'm going to say this, but....
Are you talking about cosmetic damage or something else ?

If you're talking about "Razor Rash" then you might do what I do.
    I use "Foundation Cream".

YES !!....Same as the girlies use before putting on their slap.

From the time I was 18 till about 3 years ago, I used a mix of Rubbing alcohol/Witch hazel, I now use an Alum Bloc. If I want scent, I wait till after I have rinsed the Alum off and then apply a scented body lotion that my wife got me from the mall. If I suffer from razor burn, I cut a leaf off the old Aloe Plant. Yes I have noticed a difference in how my skin both feels and looks but I am not sure if this is from the razors, or the routine after the shave.

I found that this AS works wonders for repairing skin: Village Barber Aftershave Balm
You can literally feel the difference after a few hours. I only wish it t smelled great as well, but scent is nothing special.

Whenever I have a skin rash or redness that is a bit too harsh, that even the witch hazel struggles to cure, I use this Aquaphor,,,, it is also know as the miracle ointment for diaper rash. It can be used after the witch hazel too.
